Sue Ekberg coaches people who want to live their lives more purposefully. She does this in
two arenas: 1) career counseling for achieving satisfaction and success at work; 2) coaching
for completing personal projects. She provides strategies, structure, and support for setting
and reaching career and personal goals.
Sue has twenty years experience counseling and coaching over 3000 individuals ages 17-71.
After twelve years as a career counselor at Saint Louis University and six and one-half years
as Director of the Career Center at Webster University, she pursued her private career counseling
and personal coaching practice full-time in June 2000.
In addition, Sue publishes FocusPoint, a free newsletter; teaches evening continuing education
classes through the community college system; and speaks for church, civic, and professional
groups.
Ekberg earned her B.A. in Psychology at Adrian College, M.S. in Psychology at S.U.N.Y. Cortland,
and Ph.D. in Education (Counseling emphasis) at Saint Louis University. She is a Licensed
Professional Counselor in Missouri, and is a February 2000 graduate of Coach University, a
virtual training company for coaches.
